Celadon renames driving schools

by Truck News

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Celadon has renamed its driving schools in the US and Canada to Celadon Driving Academy.

Previously, they were known as Quality Drivers School. The name change takes effect immediately at all locations in the US and Canada, Celadon announced.

It also has purchased four TransSimVS driving simulators for use at its flagship Indianapolis academy.

“As the Quality Companies operation has grown and become more focused on the lease and sale of tractors and trailers, it became apparent that the school move away from the ‘Quality’ name to avoid confusion,” said Ashley Hay, vice-president of recruiting at Celadon. “Additionally, the Celadon name has such a strong brand presence, that it only makes sense to leverage this equity in the name of the academy.”
