DHL Express Canada names new CEO

TORONTO, Ont. — DHL Express Canada has named Andrew Williams its new chief executive officer.

Previously, Williams served as vice-president of sales, DHL Express for the Americas region.

Andrew’s vast experience in our industry and his vision for strong business growth will have a huge impact as we continue to expand our network in Canada,” said Stephen Fenwick, CEO of DHL Express, Americas. “His commitment to service excellence reinforces our status as the international specialists.”

Williams has been with DHL Express Canada since October 2002. He has served as director of sales for Eastern Canada and regional vice-president for Ontario, before being named vice-president, commercial for DHL Express Canada in 2009. He joined DHL Express Americas in January 2012 and relocated to Plantation, Fl. There, he oversaw the commercial divisions throughout the US, Canada and Mexico as well as Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

The region Williams oversaw experienced double digit growth and a steady expansion of market share, DHL says.
