OTA allied trades modernizes its event sponsorship program

by Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) says it has listened to its allied trade partners and has made it ‘super easy’ for them to plan and budget for OTA networking opportunities, while bettering relationships between carriers and allied trade members.

The OTA will launch a new approach to event sponsorship that will be designed to suit both large company sponsors and small, unique providers in the trucking industry.

Some of the key features of the modernized program include: the introduction of Team OTA (a one-stop-shop for sponsors to get the best discounts, exclusive networking access and much more); a la carte sponsorship (pick and choose only the networking events you want to sponsor); and ‘Not a sponsor? No problem.’ (those with memberships in good standing can still register and attend OTA events).

“This is an exciting new way to recognize the essential role the allied trades’ members play in supporting OTA’s mission of helping to create the business environment in which the industry can grow and prosper,” said OTA chairman Scott Tilley.

The OTA says the new format elevates the value of membership for all in the supplier community, and the new sponsorship program will appeal to and accommodate all types of budgets.
