Canadian DEF prices the same or slightly lower in August

TORONTO, Ont. — Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) prices in Canada have stayed stable at the pump while decreasing in bulk and smaller quantities.

According to DEF Tracker, truckload and less-than-load bulk prices in Canada decreased in August, while the average tote refill price remained stable at 59 cents per litre.

Average 2.5-gallon jug prices decreased about 12 cents per litre in Canada, marking the third consecutive monthly decline in prices.

The national average pump price stayed steady at 80 cents per litre for the third straight month, DEF Tracker reported.
