Navistar, Meritor announce branding agreement for Fleetrite parts

LISLE, Ill. – Navistar and Meritor have agreed to co-brand premium brake shoe kits offered through the Fleetrite brand.

About 50 parts number are covered under the branding agreement. Meritor will manufacture the parts.

“This agreement demonstrates our continued partnership with Meritor to offer quality products that also provide bottom line value to our customers,” said Joel Larsen, vice-president of global parts product management, Navistar. “The rapid sales growth of our Fleetrite brand is due in large part to customer acceptance of our brake component offerings. They know they can rely on two of the most trusted names in the industry to offer premium parts, like ‘Fleetrite Manufactured by Meritor’ products, that keep their trucks and buses on the road.”

Fleetrite provides quality maintenance and repair parts for all major heavy- and medium-duty truck and bus applications and is distributed throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia through International Truck dealers and IC Bus Dealers. Fleetrite also has production level components on new International trucks.
