Peterbilt improves chassis routings

by Truck News

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Peterbilt has introduced new chassis routings for its Models 579 and 567, which the company says provides easier access and improve durability.

The new chassis routings run the length of the truck, and organize air, electrical and fuel lines into individual bundles to facilitate quick, efficient identification and servicing of these systems, Peterbilt announced.

“Peterbilt’s new routings are simple and optimized for greater robustness and ease of maintenance,” said Scott Newhouse, Peterbilt’s chief engineer. “We benchmarked leading designs to engineer the best, most modern chassis routings in the industry.”

The new configuration is currently in production.
