UAP buys Buy-Rite Truck Parts
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – UAP has announced its acquisition of Buy-Rite Truck Parts, representing its second purchase in Ontario this year.
Buy-Rite Truck Parts, based in Mississauga, Ont., is a parts distributor serving the Greater Toronto Area. It is a member of the HAD Truck Pride Group.
“This important acquisition is part of our strategy to expand our presence in the Ontario market, to better serve Traction’s growing client base in the province,” said Pierre Rachiele, executive vice-president of the Heavy Vehicle Parts Division of UAP. “We are excited at the opportunities this acquisition will bring for our division as we will leverage the expertise acquired by Buy-Rite over the last 28 years.”
UAP said Buy-Rite’s clients will benefit from the same level of service and knowledge base to which they have become accustomed while benefiting from Traction’s network and programs. “We will continue to operate at the present location until we transition the business to our Traction facilities,” the company announced.
