SLH HOSTING FUNDRAISING BBQs FOR FALLEN DRIVERS

One of the many great things about the trucking industry is that it is one that takes care of its own. SLH Transport announced it is hosting a series of barbecues across the country to raise money for the families of two of its drivers, killed tragically when an oncoming vehicle ran into their truck on June 11.

Majid Moazam-Babasheikhali (who leaves behind a sister) and Ranbir Sandhawalia (who leaves behind a wife and two-year-old son) lost their lives in the wreck. “Both drivers will be deeply missed and our condolences go out to the families at this time,” said the company.

Barbecues are being held at seven locations across the country, with the proceeds going towards the families. The first event was held yesterday in Montreal. The rest will take place:
