GRANDVIEW, Mo. – Peterson Manufacturing held its 5th annual Fleet Forum at its Grandview, Mo. headquarters June 14-15, with representatives from nine national trucking fleets and speakers from the American Trucking Associations (ATA) featured during the event.

The forum is held to provide what Peterson called ‘frank and open discussion of a wide variety of issues impacting the trucking industry.’

Topics tackled during the event included trailer lighting, harnesses and wiring, corrosion, equipment performance, future electrical systems and field service, among others. Peterson is a supplier of vehicle lighting and safety systems.

Pat Thomas, chairman of the ATA, spoke during the forum, and ATA vice-president of national sales Danny Neal was also present.

“We look forward to hosting our annual Fleet Forum for years to come,” said Steve Meagher, Peterson vice-president of sales. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with current and prospective customers, and to take a leadership role in innovating for the future.”
