Exhaust Brake Kit for GM Trucks

Pacbrake
Pacbrake, the Surrey, B.C.-based maker of engine and exhaust brakes, has introduced an exhaust brake kit for all 2001-model-year General Motors trucks.

The new C20066 kit comes with all the necessary hardware for a complete “do-it-yourself” installation. According to Pacbrake, installation time is about four hours, depending on the installer’s mechanical expertise (there is some welding required due to the design of the turbo and attaching exhaust pipe). The vehicle requires the use of an air supply system to operate the brake, which is included with the kit.

The new exhaust brake family has all of Pacbrake’s latest technological advancements, as well as standard features that include a stainless steel air cylinder, heavy-duty shaft and butterfly, and tuned orifice butterfly for accurate backpressure.
