LANORAIE, Que. – Express Mondor’s annual golf tournament raised $28,000 for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, bringing its three year total to more than $80,000.

The charity event saw 204 golfers and 250 guests in total take part in bringing support for breast cancer research to the forefront.

Linda Proulx and Anna Capobianco, both having battled breast cancer repeatedly over the past few years, spoke during the event of their experience and the impact the disease has had on them and their families.

“We are very happy to have brought together a record number of golfers and fundraising dinner guests this year. Doing so made it possible for us not only to provide financial support to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation but also to promote awareness for a cause we hold dear,” said Billy Mondor, vice-president of business development at Express Mondor. “I also want to underscore the courage of Linda Proulx and Anna Capobianco and thank them for sharing their journey with us. I hope with all my heart that they will beat cancer, and they can rest assured that we will continue to support the foundation’s work.”

Express Mondor is a road transport company, transporting general and specialized cargo throughout North America.
