SAF-Holland names new president of powered vehicle group

by Truck News

MUSKEGON, Mich. — SAF-Holland has named Mike Kamsickas president of its powered vehicle systems business unit.

He replaces Jack Gisinger, who will be retiring at the end of the year.

In his new role, Kamsickas will be in charge of global operations, product engineering, PEM sales and strategic planning for SAF-Holland’s powered vehicle systems business.

“Mike’s extensive global business experience will benefit SAF-Holland as we continue to focus on creating greater value for our customers,” said Detlef Borghardt, CEO.

Gisinger will maintain his role as president of the American subsidiary of SAF-Holland until his retirement at the end of the year. The company credits him with playing a major role in the development of the company, including the merger between SAF and Holland Group in December 2006.

“Jack’s guidance during this time will ensure a smooth transition for Mike in his new role,” said Borghardt. “Having Jack work closely with Mike through the end of the year will ensure continuity of the business.”
