Truck convoy rolls down 407 ETR to support Special Olympics

by Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. – The World’s Largest Truck Convoy will make its way across the Toronto area’s 407 ETR Sept. 10 in an effort to raise funds for Special Olympics.

The first convoy of its kind in the Peel Region, the one-day event brings supportive local truckers, Peel Region Police, Ontario Provincial Police and Special Olympics Ontario together to cheer on participants from across the province.

Funds raised during the event, which runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Powerade Center, will benefit the 2017 Provincial Summer Games taking place in the Peel Region July 13-16 next year.

Those participating in the truck convoy will be able to use the 407 ETR at no cost.
