GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Mack Trucks has been caught playing Santa as of late, having delivered two iconic Christmas trees to their respective locations last month.

The Rockefeller Center tree – a 10-tonne, 76-ft. Norway spruce – was hauled by a Mack truck into the centre of New York City Nov. 12. The arrival was covered live by NBC’s Today Show. The Mack Vision model is owned and operated by Torsilieri, Inc. of Gladstone, N.J., who have delivered the Rockfeller Center tree 27 times.

The US Capitol Christmas Tree also made its journey from Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest in Arizona to the foot of Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. with the help of a Mack truck. The Mack CH axle back tractor used to transport the 85-ft. blue spruce is owned and operated by heavy-haul specialist Southwest Industrial Rigging of Phoenix.
