MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Shaw Tracking has announced a partnership with software provider UFOS, which it says will provide real-time, reliable communication.

UFOS works with all Shaw Tracking in-cab mobile computing platforms to track shipments within NAFTA. Dispatch can now see all shipments and statuses on a single screen, and navigate using drag-and-drop technology, Shaw announced.

“We chose to partner with Shaw Tracking for many reasons,” said Erick Marroquin, vice-president of UFOS. “In particular, we’ve seen that the support and value they bring to their customers is far above and beyond their competitors so it’s a natural fit. Shaw Tracking and UFOS hold the same commitment to our clients, we listen to our customer’s needs and we’re constantly improving based on customer input. This partnership will offer unparallel support for customers.”

The UFOS system allows fleets to instantaneously inform customers that their order has been completed, with delivery details such as time, date and receiver. It also has the ability to speed up the billing process, the companies say.

“Shaw Tracking is always looking for ways we can add value to our customers’ business,” said Mike Ham, vice-president of Shaw Tracking. “This seamless Integration with UFOS will allow customers to effectively manage their business based on data. It will also enable fluid communication, providing our customers with valuable information to help their business become more reliable and efficient.”
