Well we’re past July 1, 2011 and SPIF Phase 4 is in place along with Phases 1, 2 & 3. There are a lot of members and their customers well into transitioning equipment specs to the new rules, but we at the CTEA office (particularly Eddy) are still getting a lot of questions regarding all 4 phases. My point here is quite simple really. The message is "That is what we’re here for." If you have questions or are unsure of any part of the new requirements give us a call. We’ll typically have a pretty good idea of what the answer is, but if we need to seek clarification from the MTO, it’s easy enough for us to make that request and get the answer back to you while you get on with your business of building vehicles.
