Annual House of Chrome show’n’shine to visit Manitoba Aug. 16-18

HEADINGLEY, Man. — It’s that time of year again, time to get out the polishing rags and show some pride in your ride.

Anyone in and around the Winnipeg area on the weekend of the Aug. 16-18 can see evidence of this at the House of Chrome’s annual Show and Shine. It’s the biggest show on the Prairies and is a real grassroots event; there are no Trailer Queens here, just working trucks and their drivers that want to share their enthusiasm for our industry.

The event is held at the Red River Ex Grounds, just west of the Hwy. 101 and Hwy. 1 intersection at Headingley, Man. There’s truck parking nearby and for those who aren’t afraid to walk and it is not too far from the Flying J and Husky truck stops.

The event coincides with the Winnipeg Blues and BBQ Festival, so there’s lots to do.
