APTA's annual conference coming to Halifax this fall

DIEPPE, N.B. -- The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) will be hosting the 2012 Transportation Summit in Halifax Oct. 2-3.

The event’s agenda includes panel discussions led by transportation leaders on natural gas use in the trucking industry, Atlantic Canada’s trucking economy, and a “Beyond Border Protection” session with the Canadian Border Services Agency. Canadian Trucking Alliance CEO David Bradley will also be providing an update from the CTA’s perspective.

Dennis Hull, stand-up comedian and brother of hockey legend Brett Hull, will talk humour and hockey as the entertainment on the evening of day one, while Arlene Dickinson, CEO of Venture Communications and co-star of CBC's Dragons' Den, will provide the keynote address the night of day two.
