DEF prices remain stable

TORONTO, Ont. — Canadian diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) prices remained steady in December, with Canadian prices for tote refills increasing an average of cent to 55 cents per litre compared to November, according to DEF Tracker.

The national average in the US declined by one cent to US$1.87/gallon.

Multi-drop (LTL) average prices stayed the same at 53 cents/litre in Canada. The truck stop average price of DEF in Canada also stayed steady at 80 cents a litre, where it has remained since October 2011.
