TORONTO, Ont. — It’s expected the number of North American truck stops offering diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) at the pump will reach 1,000 by mid-February, according to the latest issue of DEF Tracker.
An average of two new locations are now coming online each day, the report indicates.
There was no movement on DEF pump prices in the US and Canada between November and December, according to DEF Tracker. The Canadian average price is 80 cents per litre while it costs $2.79/gallon at the pump in the US.
There were marginal decreases in the price of DEF in less-than-load quantities, including tote refills between November and December.
