MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- More than 350 FedEx volunteers will be organizing cleanup drives in 26 communities across Canada this week in conjunction with the eighth annual FedEx Cares Week. More than 4,000 FedEx volunteers worldwide will take part in the event, held Sept. 10-14, donating their time to serve local organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities where FedEx team members live and work.

To mark the event in Canada, FedEx Express Canada will also donate $5,000 to a Canadian charity through our FedEx Cares Week Canadian Charity Delivery. The initiative gives Canadians the opportunity to nominate their favourite charity for a chance to win.

“FedEx Cares Week celebrates the spirit of volunteerism, collaboration and community at FedEx. It is just another way for FedEx team members here in Canada and across the globe to make a difference in their own backyards,” said Lisa Lisson, president of FedEx Express Canada.
