OAKVILLE, Ont. — Geoff Bennett, former president and co-chair of Kelron Logistics, died Dec. 23 after a battle with cancer. Bennett started Kelron with his partner in 1992, growing the business from his basement to a North American operation with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Chicago and Cleveland, before selling it last year. He was an active member of the transportation industry, serving as a committee member of the TIA and chair of the National Transportation Brokers Association.

Visitation will take place at the Ward Funeral Home (109 Reynolds Street in Oakville) from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Jan. 4. A private service is scheduled to take place. In lieu of flowers, family is asking those interested to consider a memorial donation to a charity of their choice. Visit an online Book of Memories dedicated to Bennett here.
