Gates Canada helps power the Great Northern Ride
BRANTFORD, Ont. – Snowmobile enthusiasts are suiting up for the 14th consecutive year to raise money for the Lansdowne Children’s Centre Foundation.
The Brantford Rotary Clubs annual snowmobile trip, the Great Northern Ride powered by Gates will kick off on February 23 in Sudbury and head to Timmins, Hearst, Wawa, Elliot Lake and circle back to Sudbury, wrapping up the expedition on February 28, 2014.
Lansdowne Children’s Centre is a treatment centre for children with physical, communication and/or developmental needs located in Brantford, Ont.
Gates Canada will be donating G-Force recreational belts for the wide range of snowmobiles that are expected to be on the trip.
The automotive aftermarket industry also contributed to the Lansdowne Children’s Centre Foundation with a contribution of $2,500 on behalf of the High Five for Kids Foundation.
