TORONTO, Ont. -- Hitachi Capital Canada celebrated its move into the Canadian market with a major bash Dec. 13.

The new Canadian subsidiary was launched at a cocktail party attended by corporate executives, Canadian truck dealers and manufacturing partners from Canada, the US and Japan.

Besgen, president of HCA and also president and CEO of HCC. “We are excited by the opportunity to earn business from Canadian accounts and look forward to a long and prosperous Canadian presence.”

Also at the event, Robert Otto, senior vice-president and general manager of Hitachi Capital Canada, introduced Michael Bishop as the new regional sales manager for the Canadian operations. Bishop will head sales and marketing initiatives, working with HCC’s leasing partner CLE Leasing.
