PEORIA, Ariz. -- NAL Insurance has formed a new partnership with Contractor Management Services (CMS), where CMS will provide NAL’s independent contractor (IC) and carrier clients with financial protections and solutions using its proprietary technology, ICM Power.

CMS officials say the contribution of its ICM Power technology will help NAL’s client companies and ICs to lower costs, reduce risk and stay compliant while increasing efficiency and profits. The partnership will also provide access to a real-time online platform, where posts can be viewed and discussed between client companies and independent contractors.

“We have spent the last year working with NAL to ensure our ICM Power technology will be as effective in the Canadian market as it is in the United States,” said chief strategy officer Scott Grandys. “We are confident our technology will provide immediate and positive results for NAL’s current and future customers. Reducing risk and staying compliant is no easy task no matter where you are, but we’re up for the challenge. This partnership with NAL Insurance is a strategic milestone for CMS and a win for all–especially independent contractors.”

“In the transportation industry, it is very difficult for a trucking company to establish any type of competitive advantage,” said NAL Insurance’s vice-president and general manager Chris Henry. “CMS’s proprietary technology delivers immediate operating efficiencies to NAL’s customers, allowing them to do more with the same or less overhead.”
