EDMONTON, Alta. -- Rosenau Transport has donated a tractor-trailer to the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA), which will recognize the association’s biggest boosters and assist with training initiatives.
Company president Carl Rosenau has been a 20-year member of the AMTA and one of its strongest proponents.
“An association’s effectiveness is measured by the level of engagement and support received by the industry it serves. AMTA is strong in member support,” said executive director Don Wilson. “We are very grateful to Carl Rosenau for his generous donation.”
The tractor-trailer will be used for training programs and for transporting materials. It was recently used to deliver supplies needed for the provincial driving championships.
“AMTA is a not for profit association and sometimes it is tough to acquire assets on a limited budget,” said Rosenau. “This unit will be used for safety and mechanical training.”
To show its appreciation to Rosenau, and highlight the many other member companies who support AMTA throughout the year, the association has placed logos on the trailer of companies it identifies as key AMTA ‘boosters’ – those firms who support AMTA programs and events on a regular basis.
Among those boosters is Michelin, which donated a set of wide-base tires for the unit.
