TORONTO, Ont. — CITT Toronto Area Council has elected its executive team for 2013 and all positions remain unchanged.

The Council for 2013 will be;

Chair:  James Nguyen, CITT, UPS

Vice-Chair:  Tom Pauls, CITT, Stoakley-Dudley

Treasurer:  Paul Celseti, CITT, Walmart

Secretary:  Derek Parsons, CITT

Events Co-ordinator:  Ysabelle Pelletier, CITT, Holt Renfrew

Special Advisor:  Duane Chiasson, CITT, Maisliner

The Toronto Area Council was involved with 14 events in 2012.  The Council introduced the “meet & greet,” providing an opportunity to network with other CITT professionals in the GTA.  They also held several tours and general meetings, as well as a successful golf tournament.  The Toronto Area Council supported several charities this year by both raising funds and providing logistics expertise to charitable causes.

The challenge for the Executive Team looms large in 2013. Reposition will be held in Toronto for the first time since 1996. The Council is already planning for what James Nguyen and Catherine Viglas hope will be the most successful yearly conference yet.
