TTC elects executive committee for 2013, has Grapes for dinner

TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Transportation Club held its 99th annual general meeting yesterday at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, followed by its annual dinner which featured live entertainment from Canadian hockey icon, Don Cherry. More than 950 industry professionals and dignitaries attended the evening’s festivities.

The during the AGM, the board elected the following executive committee for 2013:

– John Foss (account manager, Trailcon Leasing) – President
– Peter Collins (vice-president of sales, Durabody) – First vice-president
– Tim Roulston (director of sales intermodal wholesale, CN Rail) – Second vice-president
– Claudia Milicevic, (senior director and general manager of TransCore Link Logistics) – Immediate past president

 The 2012 board of the TTC includes the following individuals:

– Brad Bowering, senior district sales manager, Central Region, Peterbilt of Canada
– Brian Wright, director of sales, Canadian Pacific Railway
– Gary Fast, associate vice-president of transportation operations, Canadian Tire
– Joe Glionna, director, Newcom Business Media
– Eric Carusi, general manager, TPT Systems (division of Transpro Freight Systems)
– David Wood, operations manager, Mother Parkers Tea and Coffee
– Kathy Cartan, president, Motive Media
– Jim Wade, sales representative, MSM Transportation
– Lori McCreight, vice-president of strategic accounts, Canada Cartage
– Mary Clarke, manager of cargo domestic sales, Air Canada
– Neil McKenna, vice-president of transportation, Canadian Tire
– Peter Collins, vice-president, Durabody Industries
– Robert McDonald, president, APPS Transportation Group
– Tim Boyce, group vice-president of sales and marketing, The Wheels Group
