PORTLAND, Ore. -- Wabco has announced it has struck an agreement with Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) to supply its single-piston air disc brakes.
Under the deal, Wabco will supply its Maxxus air disc brake technology for series production on Daimler trucks in North America beginning in July.
Wabco says its Maxxus brake technology provides the lightest, highest-performing single-piston disc brake available in the North American commercial vehicle industry. It reduces overall weight and improves fuel efficiency while offering increased payload, the company claims.
