pleased to announce that Tim Boyce has been appointed Chief Marketing
Officer (CMO). Mr Boyce will lead the development and implementation of
the Company's sales and marketing strategies to drive continued growth
while supporting customer satisfaction and retention.
For the past 19 years, Mr. Boyce has served in numerous segments of the
transportation industry, including senior management roles with Canpar
Transport, TST (formerly TNT) Overland Express and, most recently, with
Canadian Pacific Railway.
Wheels is also pleased to announce that Mike McCarron will join the
Company's mergers and acquisitions team through the provision of
consulting services related to identifying consolidation and
acquisition opportunities within the Canadian third party and freight
brokerage sectors, with a focus on small and medium sized companies.
Mike McCarron has over 30 years of industry experience and was one of
the founding partners of MSM Transportation, acquired by Wheels in
October, 2012. Mr. McCarron has held numerous leadership positions
within the transportation industry. He currently serves on the
Executive Board of Directors and is the Convention Chairman of the
Ontario Trucking Association. Mr. McCarron also serves on the Board of
Directors of the Canadian Trucking Alliance and is a Past President of
the Toronto Transportation Club.
