EUGENE, Ore. — Users of Blue Tree Systems vehicle tracking and communications systems will now be able to monitor trailer weights via Air-Weigh’s on-board electronic scales.

Blue Tree Systems has announced it has developed a data interface between its trailer tracking solution and the new QuickLoad Trailer Scale from Air-Weigh.

Trailers using both systems will now provide real-time trailer weight information.

“Air-Weigh and Blue Tree Systems have teamed up to offer an integrated trailer solution that provides real-time trailer weight,” said Martin Ambros, president and CEO of Air-Weigh. “The weight information may be logged on-board or transmitted over a wireless network from the trailer to the customer’s host site. By working with Blue Tree Systems to offer this solution, we are helping their customers save money with a system that contributes to efficient and productive trucking operations and provides a quick return on investment.”

“The open architecture of Blue Tree’s R:COM system allows direct access to data sources such as the trailer weight information provided by Air-Weigh,” added Charlie Cahill, Blue Tree Systems president and CEO. “By combining our progressive Temperature Management and trailer tracking solutions with Air-Weigh’s load management system, we can dramatically increase productivity for our customers.”
