Dometic Group unveils new Blizzard Turbo air conditioner

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Dometic Group has announced the launch of its Blizzard Turbo today. The product is the industry’s most powerful auxiliary air conditioner for trucking.

The engine-off auxiliary air conditioner is essential for drivers who want comfort while resting without idling. It is powered by batteries, generator or shore power and provided 7,000 BTUs of cooling.

“The Dometic Blizzard Turbo is the coolest, most powerful air conditioner for trucks on the market today, providing professional drivers with a whole new level of comfort when on the road,” said Jim Kerrigan, Vice President of OEM Sales, Dometic Commercial & Passenger Vehicle division. “The Blizzard Turbo is specially designed to meet the durability requirements of the over-the-road truck market, and has a highly favourable BTU to wattage ratio, making it an efficient choice for cooling.”

The Blizzard Turbo includes a centrifugal blower, that provides a high air flow and high static-pressure performance

The unit will be on display the Mid-America Trucking Show at both #14252 March 26-28 in Louisville, Ky.
