New electronic air kit from Link Manufacturing

by Truck News

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — Link Manufacturing has announced a new integrated electronic air kit for the UltraRide chassis air suspension system.

The UltraRide is designed to improve ride and handling of light- and medium-duty work trucks.

The small air kit footprint – less than two feet of frame space – provides faster ride-height recovery and offers up to 150 psi output, yet has noise similar to a normal conversation, the company says.

The new electronic air kit offers new features, including user-friendly diagnostic software. Added blink codes to the wiring lights enable diagnosis of fault codes.

There are two modes of operation. The Ambulance Mode includes a System Enable Signal that prevents the suspension from kneeling when the vehicle is in gear. The Tower-Hauler Mode ignores the System Enable Signal and allows the vehicle to kneel even if the vehicle is moving.\

The new air kit will be available beginning Apr. 1.
