Omnitracs launches educational ELD Web site

by Truck News

DALLAS, Texas — Omnitracs has created an online electronic logging device (ELD) resource, focusing on the impending US regulations and providing insight into how to choose an effective, compliant ELD solution.

The US is proceeding with an ELD mandate that will be slated for September 2015. Omnitracts has launched a Web site at www.ELDfacts.com to help fleets understand the new requirements and the technology that exists.

It includes blogs, case studies, news updates, an FAQ, video tutorials and more.

“From scouring through pages and pages of regulations, to trying to make sense of the word on the street, zeroing in on accurate information regarding the ELD ruling can be daunting,” said Tom Cuthbertson, vice-president of regulatory compliance for Omnitracs. “Leveraging our team of experts, we’re breaking down the regulation and deciphering what it all means for fleets managers and drivers. ELDfacts.com is designed to be the one stop shop for industry professionals in need of answers.”
