BELLEVUE, Wash. — PACCAR Leasing Company (PacLease) recently published a newsletter outlining solutions for companies dealing with the limited trucking capacity trend.

The newsletter is the latest in PacLease’s Trends & Outlooks series and examines current conditions in the for-hire trucking industry affecting shipping rates and availability. The publication outlines how private fleets can play an integral part in a company’s overall transportation strategy.

In the newsletter, truck leasing is offered as the cost-effective solution to starting or expanding a private fleet. The newsletter points out that truck leasing can provide benefits for various company departments including accounting, operations, marketing, human resources, safety and sales. Included are profiles of PacLease customers that successfully use leasing to increase their efficiency and capacity.

“Leasing gives a company flexibility and enables it to build capacity and control costs during periods of trucking uncertainty,” said Bob Southern, president of PacLease.
