CYPRESS, Calif. – Toyo Tire has introduced an improved casing warranty on its commercial tires.

The casing value for its medium-truck and bus radial tires has been increased to $110 for the first retread on many sizes, Toyo announced. It also offers a rubber allowance of up to $50 based on the remaining tread depth of the tire.

“Toyo Tires commercial tire products continue to receive praise on their retreadability from independent tire dealers throughout the US,” said Lowell Slimp, senior product manager, commercial truck tires, Toyo Tire. “We are offering our improved casing warranty to further demonstrate the benefits of using Toyo brand commercial tires which help to reduce the cost per mile for fleet and independent operations that rely on both quality and durability.”

The new, 66-month warranty applies to Toyo commercial truck tires purchased after Oct. 10, 2013, the company announced.
