MONROVIA, Calif. — Double Coin’s RT600 and RR202 tires have been accepted into the US EPA SmartWay program.

The program verifies the tires, or other technologies, have the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The low-profile all-position RT600 features a five-rib design while the premium highway-service RR2020 tire features standard and low-profile sizes for a variety of applications.

“Double Coin is continually committed to engineering products that help reduce emissions and improve fuel economy,” said Aaron C. Murphy, vice-president of CMA. “The SmartWay Technology program is a positive step in the right direction for our future, and we are proud that Double Coin products are on the list among verified technologies that improve the environment.”
