FENTON, Mich. — Webasto has introduced two new coolant heating systems for specialty commercial vehicles and off-highway equipment.

The new Thermo Pro 90 engine-off coolant heater offers new features including improved fan motor durability, biodiesel compatibility and high-altitude adjustment up to 11,000 ft. It boasts quick warm-up times, low power consumption and can produce up to 31,000 BTU/hr of heating power, Webasto claims.

The new Thermo Pro 50 is also an engine-off coolant heater with compact dimensions and a lightweight design. It also offers high-altitude adjustment up to 11,000 ft, improved fan motor durability and better performance and service life.

It can produce 17,000 BTU/hr of heating power.

“The new heaters meet increased environmental demands and provide longer life-cycle performance,” said Webasto Thermo & Comfort North America president and CEO, Dr. Rolf Haag. “We want to continue to improve our product’s capabilities to meet these needs for our customers.”
