WINNIPEG, Man. — Smart Truck Canada says it is ending its relationship with Smart Truck Systems, as a distributor of its trailer undertray devices.

Dave Tyrchniewicz, president of Smart Truck Canada, said the two companies were unable to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. His company has been a distributor for Smart Truck since 2011.

The Canadian company initiated the recent pink undertray campaign in support of cancer research, and Tyrchniewicz said it will continue while the pink undertrays continue to be available. The total amount raised through the initiative will be announced by the end of the year, he said.

“Smart Truck Canada will continue providing solutions devoted to reducing fuel consumption in an efficient, cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner to the transportation industry in Canada,” Tyrchniewicz said in a release. “Expect to see a new product lineup in the near future.”
