MacKay’s Truck Center named Mack Trucks’ Canadian dealer of the year

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Mack Trucks named its 2015 winners for its regional sales divisions and its 2015 North American Dealer of the Year recently.

MacKay’s Truck Center in Truro, Nova Scotia was the 2015 Canadian region winner.

The winner of the 2015 North American Dealer of the year went to Nextran Truck Centers of Orlando, Florida.

Mack said Nextran exceeded its overall sales target by 58% in 2015 and had the highest sales volume for both trucks and parts among Mack dealers in the in the Nextran Truck Centers group. To provide even better service and support to customers, Nextran plans to remodel and expand the Orlando center.

Nextran Truck Centers operates 14 full-service commercial truck centers across Florida, Georgia and Alabama. It plans to open its newest location in Duluth, Georgia, later this year.

“Nextran Truck Centers has done an outstanding job providing Mack customers with the right truck for the job and the aftermarket service they need for maximum uptime,” said Stephen Roy, president, Mack Trucks North America. “We’re proud to partner with them in serving customers across all segments of our market.”

Other 2015 winners included:

  • Northeast Region: Bergey’s Truck Center, Souderton, Pennsylvania
  • Southeast Region: Nextran Truck Centers, Orlando, Florida
  • Central Region: M & K Quality Truck Sales, Summit, Illinois
  • Southwest Region: Vanguard Truck Center, Houston, Texas
  • West Region: Vanguard Truck Center, Phoenix, Arizona

As well, the Mack Leasing North America Member of the Year award went to McMahon Truck Leasing in Charlotte, North Carolina. East Texas Mack Sales in Longview, Texas, received the North America Remarketing Dealer of the Year award, and the overall Customer Satisfaction Award went to Nextran Truck Centers of Jacksonville, Florida.
