RICHMOND HILL, Ont. — Acklands-Grainger Inc. today announced the launch of its new product catalogue and completely refurbished Web site.

“Our customers have told us they want easier access to more facilities maintenance products,” said Doug Harrison, President, Acklands-Grainger Inc. “The 2005 Acklands-Grainger catalogue, with more than 4,300 new products and over 1,500 pages of quality brand-name and private label items, is designed to do just that — make it easier for our customers to find the right maintenance, repair and operations products to fit their needs.”

Customers visiting www.acklandsgrainger.com will find a suite of online improvements including:

* A more powerful search engine to locate and select products more easily than ever before;
* The ability to maintain a list of favourite product purchases, to enable easier repeat ordering;
* A customer-secure order history file, detailing previous purchases; and
* Multiple user and company authorization capability to provide a tool to customers to monitor their employees procurement activity.

“Our goal is to help our customers save time and money by enhancing the purchasing process, and we continue to look for new and improved ways of doing that,” said Harrison. “If a customer just needs to reorder, say, 500 pairs of work gloves, we want them to be able to do it in less than a minute, from the comfort of their desktop — and to expect same-day shipment.”

Acklands-Grainger will be supporting the new Web site with a complimentary training CD, available from an Acklands-Grainger Account Manager, online or in-branch.

The new catalogue, available in English and French, will be distributed to customers either in person by their account manager, or by dropping into their local branch. In conjunction with the launch of the catalogue, a promotional flyer featuring 60 special products at significant, limited-time special prices will also be available.
