AMTA COUNCIL ELECTIONS UNDERWAY

CALGARY, Alta. — Nominations are still being accepted for positions on the Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) regional councils.

The elections, which will take place at the Apr. 30 general meeting in Red Deer, Alta.

Nominations for regional directors must be submitted to the AMTA in writing, and seconded by a member. The nominee must also sign the nomination form.

AMTA executive director Lane Kranenburg says there has been an excellent response, and there are several well sought after positions up for grabs.
