KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Arrow Transportation Systems has purchased Toronto-based Degama Systems’ Transportation Management Software (DTMS) solution.

“We are excited to assist Arrow Transportation with their software requirements and we will be working together to deploy the very best software solution for this growth-oriented firm,” said Bob Ummat, sales manager for Degama Systems.

“When we came to the conclusion that we needed to upgrade or replace our internally developed Arrow Order application, which provides critical front-end billing and expense functionality to our ERP system, we looked at both internal and externally provided solutions,” says André Larouche, chief information officer at Arrow Transportation. “Degama was selected because we liked their transportation expertise, their competitive pricing and their ability to customize their solutions to integrate with the wide array of internally created and externally purchased software used at Arrow. We expect that this is the beginning of a long and productive relationship with Degama and look forward to leveraging other synergies that may be found between our two organizations.”
