VICTORIA, B.C. – The Sachs Bridge on Moresby Island and the Tlell River Bridge on Graham Island will be getting a facelift, thanks to a $74,800 contract won by Rossco Ventures Ltd. of Terrace B.C.

Rossco Ventures will build a 36-metre bridge across Sachs Creek, and make improvements to the Tlell River Bridge, which will include installing an upgraded galvanized steel sidewalk and railing.

Removing and replacing the Sachs Bridge will cause some minor traffic delays. The Ministry of Transportation and Highways will be managing the project, on behalf of the B.C. Transportation Financing Authority. Work is scheduled for completion by Mar. 31.
