BCTA TO REWARD TOP STUDENTS

LANGLEY, B.C. — The British Columbia Trucking Association (BCTA) is offering two scholarships worth $1,000 each to children of BCTA members.

Competition for the BCTA Motor Carrier Member Scholarship and the James W. Tepoorten Memorial Scholarship will be open to children of employees or owners of BCTA carrier.

Students must be graduating from secondary school or have completed one or more previous years of post secondary education to be eligible. They must also be enrolling in a full-time program at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution.

The scholarships will be handed out based on a number of criteria, including grades, strong career goals and community involvement. For more information about the scholarships, contact the BCTA at 604-888-5319.
