BCTA TRUCK DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIP SLATED FOR MAY

SURREY, B.C. — The British Columbia Trucking Association (BCTA) will be hosting its driving championships on May 26, at the Freightliner lot in Surrey, B.C.

Competitions will be held in six classes, including straight truck, single axle tractor and trailer, and tandem tractor and trailer. The BCTA big rig show and shine will also be held in conjunction with the event.

A dinner and dance will follow the competition, and awards will be presented. Registration is $120 and the deadline is May 11. For details, call the BCTA at 604-888-5319.
