CALGARY, Alta. — BigRigDirect has put the finishing touches on their first financing deal, allowing a Calgary-based owner-operator to shift his operation into high gear.

Trucker Jeff Jackson received financing through the company, enabling him to purchase his first truck, valued at $136,000.

“I didn’t expect much of BigRigDirect,” says Jackson. “I thought they’d be just like every other financing company BigRigDirect really went the extra mile for me. Their level of customer service was a welcome surprise.”

The transaction marks the first of several, totaling $1.2 million in gross finance volume pending completion.

BigRigDirect’s financier, Guy Bertrand, says “This volume of application activity is quite remarkable considering BigRigDirect has only been in business for three months.”
