Carbis releases new safety system

FLORENCE, S.C. — Carbis has unveiled its new flatbed fall protection system, which the company claims protects workers from injury and employers from high liability risks.

The new system combines tried and true safety techniques with new features to enhance worker safety while loading and unloading flatbed trailers, the company says.

Carbis sales manager, Bill Just, says companies with loading docks should take a close look at having the system installed.

“We created this line of products because when a truck rolls onto your business property, you are held accountable for the safety of the individual who loads your goods onto that flatbed, regardless of who he or she works for,” explains Just.

The company also claims that having the new system in place could cause insurance premiums to drop.
