Cat engine division appoints new GM

MOSSVILLE, Ill. — The Caterpillar Truck Engine Division has announced the appointment of Sarah Anderson to the position of general manager.

In her new job, she is responsible for managing the worldwide marketing, sales and support for the Caterpillar mid-range and heavy-duty truck engine lines.

“We’re paying close attention to the continuing changes in the industry and the marketplace,” says Anderson. “With Cat’s partnerships, ACERT technology, and competitive product line, we expect to continue our move toward major market growth.”

Anderson takes over for previous General Manager William Mayo, who has been promoted to a leadership position in the Track Type Tractor Division.
