Champlain border crossing prepares for visitors

CHAMPLAIN, N.Y. — There will be an important visitor at the Champlain border crossing on Aug. 15.

That’s when the House Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Treasury Appropriations staff director will be visiting the facility for a full tour and briefing.

U.S. Congressmen John McHugh and John Sweeney are hosting the visit, which is aimed at helping the guests to understand existing and future needs.

This visit marks the first time that Champlain has been visited by a subcommittee staff member.
